As well, all elders and deacons subscribe to an affirmation of faith that is more extensive than that required of church members. This affirmation of faith can be read here.
Erik Meyers – Elder, Lead Pastor
Pastor Erik Meyers is the Lead Pastor of Veritas Church.
Erik helped plant Veritas Church in the Summer of 2008 when a small group of people began studying the Bible in his living room in Roseville, California. Since then, Erik has focused on preaching, planning, and training men.
Erik married his wife Kristen in 2000 and they have four children (four boys) – Payton, Brady, Jackson, and Blaise.
Matt Phelan – Lead Deacon
Matt is the Lead Deacon at Veritas Church, overseeing general administration as well as communication between deacons and ministry leaders.
Matt is married to his wife Erika and they have two children, Deacon and Emmett.
Kurtis Banchero – Deacon
Kurtis oversees prayer support of the pastor and congregation. As well, Kurtis oversees the facilitation of our services by organizing things such as setup, tear-down, and security.
Kurtis has three sons; Cameron (34), John (33), and Tyler (12).
Heath Rohl – Deacon
Heath oversees worship music, which includes leading the music portion of Veritas worship services.
Heath is married to his wife Tina and they have two children, Caleb and Olyvia.
Felicia Gillespie – Deacon
Felicia oversees the Veritas finances. Her role includes managing of bank accounts, paying bills, and the organization of various financial reports.
Felicia has been married to her husband, Ed, since 2006 and has an adult son, Cameron.
Marina Morrow – Deacon
Marina oversees organization and communication within Veritas Kids (“Veritots”) and Hospitality. Her long list of responsibilities include administrative tasks that help Veritas minister to children and, as well, provide a welcoming atmosphere for people visiting our church.
Marina is married to her husband Greg.
